Alfresco Software announced the immediate availability of Alfresco Community Edition 3.3 for download. This release includes a range of content services for developers, including integrations with IBM Lotus Social software and a preview of an upcoming Google Docs integration. With LGPL licensing and enhancements to document and web content management functionality, Community 3.3 is also the first ECM tool to enable developers to deliver content-rich business applications leveraging CMIS 1.0 open source standards.

Iron Mountain Incorporated announced a new release of its CloudRecovery solution for Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager. With Iron Mountain’s CloudRecovery solution, Microsoft DPM customers can automatically protect their business data with Iron Mountain’s secure cloud for short-and long-term, off-site storage. This release includes support for DPM 2010, multiterabyte scalability and new options for additional data protection.

Quest Software, Inc. announced a new release of vWorkspace, a single virtualization solution for application delivery and desktop deployments. The new release includes major functionality enhancements including EOP Xtream to speed WAN performance, and integration with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Remote Desktop Services to automate deployment and administration, and simplify use.Quest also announced a new release of Toad for Oracle that provides greater automation in Oracle development, administration, and query and reporting.
