Angoss Software Corporation introduced new aspects to its predictive analytics software suite, version 7.6, which includes KnowledgeSEEKER, KnowledgeSTUDIO and StrategyBUILDER. New features include extensions of its in-database analytics support, enhanced data modeling, and a Market Basket Analysis to make associations between groups of items.

Courion Corporation released its new Access Risk Management Suite, its identity and access management (IAM) solution. Developed as a single platform, the suite automates and integrates IAM functions such as identity and access governance, and includes Access Insight, its feature for constant analysis of vital information.

IBM made three new software offerings as part of a larger analytics roll out. IBM Tivoli Analytics for Service Performance watches over the data center, enabling visibility and management of organization data, and is released alongside a new version of Tivoli Business Service Management; IBM WebSphere MQ includes features to integrate and spread information in a secure manner across business processes; and IBM WebSphere Operational Decision Management software automates and applies real-time information on critical situations.

Kalido launched Kalido Information Engine version 9.0, its updated platform for integration and implementation of data warehouse architecture. New capabilities include automation that cuts or reduces the need for separate ETL tools, and eliminates many of the long-standing manual loading and testing for integrating data.

At its annual OpenWorld conference, Oracle released numerous solutions, including: Oracle Financial Management Analytics, pre-built dashboards built upon the company’s most recent Business Intelligence Release, featuring business-side visualizations of financial fields and scheduling, architecture for extending analytics to third-party or legacy integrations, and use on iPad and iPhone; Oracle Exalytics Business Intelligence Machine, an in-memory hardware and software system for real-time and predictive analytics with extended BI visualizations for all users; and Oracle Big Data Appliance, which acquires, organizes and loads unstructured information into Oracle Database 11g, and includes an open source distribution of Apache Hadoop, Oracle NoSQL Database, R, and others.

QAD updated its flagship BI solution. QAD Business Intelligence 3.5 features its own data repository populated with QAD’s ETL tool, pre-packaged and formatted modules for KPIs, and includes an iPad access application.

Teradata announced the availability of its GeoServer solution. Connecting the Teradata Database analytics engine to major open source geospatial and visualization applications, the new solution enables real-time spatial data to support business analytics and connections of location tools to the Teradata integrated data warehouse.

Virtustream Inc. unveiled a new edition of its cloud computing resource analytics and analysis engine. Virtustream Advisor 2.0 features agent-free monitoring of usage, availability and demand of cloud environments, uses an algorithm to estimate impacts of cloud and virtual use, and, as part of the release, the provider announced its partners can use the new cloud engine to evaluate their clients’ needs.
