Cloudsoft Corporation launched its latest application mobility platform, Cloudsoft Monterey Spring Edition. Offering full integration with VMWare’s SpringSource Tool Suite, the Monterey Spring Edition features application partitioning and transactional integrity in multi-cloud scenarios, as well as hierarchical locations and constraints, and automatic performance metrics.

Cognilytics Inc. announced the release of Max Pi Mortgage, a predictive analytics and decision modeling product for financial institutions. Built on the company’s predictive analytics platform and available as a SaaS solution, Max Pi Mortgage features holistic and integrated views of business and GRC, visualization capabilities and compatibility with a clients’ systems.   

Epicor Software Corporation announced the release of Epicor IT Service Management 2010, its enhanced version of Epicor ITSM Business Intelligence. Two new features in Epicor IT Service Management 2010 are a vertical side bar for quicker, contextual access to commonly used actions, and a new drag and drop function, which links external files with records. The core application features SOA built using Epicor and Microsoft .NET, SharePoint and SQL frameworks.

GrapeCity unveiled ActiveAnalysis 2, a freeform OLAP, data visualization and business intelligence component for Microsoft systems. Active Analysis 2 enables developers to embed cross-browser data visualization and BI features, supports exporting of onscreen data to an Excel-compatible format, and flexible data binding.

Hitachi Data Systems Corporation announced the latest version of its cloud adoption portfolio, Hitachi Content Platform v4, as well as its data management and storage onramp, Hitachi Data Ingestor. Hitachi Content Platform v4 features improved scalability and security, built-in preservation and replication, and capabilities for objects to manage themselves under certain conditions. Hitachi Data Ingestor connects Hitachi Content Platform to users and existing applications, and measures, shares and migrates data.

HyperOffice unveiled new project management features to its cloud-based software suite. The latest update adds task dependencies and interactive Gantt charts, along with enhancements to features with its email, document collaboration, Intranets and Extranets, shared calendars and contacts, Web conferencing and backup.

Iron Mountain Incorporated launched its Enterprise Discovery Suite, series of information governance and content management solutions. Components of the Iron Mountain Enterprise Discovery Suite include: Iron Mountain NearPoint, an information archive for content across various repositories; Connected Classify & Collect, an on-premise policy-based data identification and collection tool; Iron Mountain eVantage, a case analysis and processing solution; and Iron Mountain Legal Discovery, a scalable data review offering. The suite is backed by Iron Mountain data consulting.

Kalido launched three additions to its data warehouse portfolio. Kalido Hierarchy and Rule Management is a data warehouse access and control solution geared toward business users with less data listed in code. Teradata and Kalido Accelerate for Agile Data Warehouse is a packaged offering for mid-market customers offering warehouse deployment within 90 days and the ability to start with one data project and add over time. Kalido Information Engine is a data warehouse delivery tool on the Teradata platform aimed at speedy delivery.

Pegasystems Inc. released two new products: Order Management Solution, for definition and deployment of business bundles, and its Consumer Lending Solution, a BPM tool for mortgage lenders to track transaction history and errors. The Order Management Solution offers customized definition of services and products, real-time management dashboards, and deployment of information across multiple internal and external delivery platforms.  The Consumer Lending Solution is a multi-channel product with end-to-end quality controls and automation for data entry of lending paperwork. 

Sybase Inc. announced the release of Sybase Liquidity Management Suite (LMS), which contains a variety of new modules to support the company’s financial markets database management systems. Sybase LMS includes real-time risk and analytics reporting for its column-based database, Sybase IQ; transaction storage for Cash Flow Manager and Collateral Manager modules; and scenario modeling and refined data analysis for its Liquidity Risk Manager.

Teradata released the latest version of its database, Teradata Database 13.10, as well as the five purpose-built data warehouse appliances that make up its new platform family. Teradata Database 13.10 uses temporal analytics to monitor data changes, an open parallel framework, customer-driven data functions, along with enhancements to its data compression abilities. Teradata’s new platform family includes: Active Enterprise Data Warehouse 5650, for complex workloads with thousands of users; Extreme Performance Appliance 4600, a warehouse that features solid state drive technology; Data Warehouse Appliance 2650, with a more than three-fold performance hike from its predecessor; Extreme Data Appliance 1650, for extremely large data sets; and Data Mart Appliance 560, for entry-level system use.

XebiaLabs announced the availability of Deployit 1.3, its deployment automation solution. Deployit 1.3 marks the end of its beta testing program, and features a new task-driven user interface. In keeping with XebiaLabs’ Unified Deployment Model, it also has new connections to IBM WebSphere MQ and Maven.
