Deltek upgraded its project-based ERP solution. Vision 7 provides insight into areas of operation, allows firms to respond quickly to changes, such as starting a new project or changing a project’s scope, and provides a connection between time collection and project accounting.
dtSearch unveiled version 7.70 of its product line. The latest edition of its solutions feature improved document filters, image support to Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other types of files, indexing capabilities of over a terabyte of text in a single index and international language support.
HP launched HP Service Anywhere, its SaaS IT service management solution. The release includes HP Universal Configuration management database, which manages services, applications and hardware across IT, and provides service desk abilities and social collaboration capabilities. HP Service Anywhere offers speed deployment incident management, problem management and change management.
IBM rolled out its digital marketing system, IBM Digital Analytics Accelerator, and Hadoop-based analytics solution software, IBM InfoSphere BigInsights. IBM Digital Analytics Accelerator creates targeted advertising and promotions based on customer sentiment, brings analytics to social media, web traffic and customer communications, and is powered by Netezza and Unica. IBM InfoSphere BigInsights analyzes unstructured and structured data within databases, features built-in social media social media analytics and InfoSphere Data Explorer, which enables data federation capabilities from IBM’s Vivisimo acquisition.
ParAccel announced its On Demand Integration Services, a database extension layer that opens up its analytic platform so that third parties can build ODI modules and connections to other platforms, applications and data sources. ParAccel also released the latest iteration of its Hadoop on Demand Integration Module, which connects both relational and non-relational data, supports bi-directional sharing of data and processes with Hadoop, and integrates with HCatalog for metadata exchange. Platfora unveiled its in-memory business intelligence platform for Hadoop. This solution features Platform Vizboards, which allows users to build visualizations, scale-out in-memory data processing and a Hadoop data refinery.
Quest Software released three new products. Kitenga Analytics analyzes structured, semi-structured and unstructured data stored in the Hadoop framework and features text search, machine learning and advanced visualizations; Toad for Hadoop features query and data management functionality for Hadoop, as well as an interface to perform data transfers using the Quest Hadoop Connector; and SharePlex for Oracle now can create multiple copies of Oracle data for movement simultaneously to both another Oracle environment and Hadoop and scalable data distribution on-premise, in the cloud, and across multiple data centers without a single point of failure.
Semarchy made enhancements to its platform for viewing consolidated data for master data management initiatives, Semarchy Convergence for MDM 2.0. The latest version allows organizations to enforce security at attribute level and contextually at row level, define fine-grained policies for compliance, and automatically generate documentation sets for master data models, data governance rules and policies.
Talend adds big data profiling capabilities for Apache Hadoop to the Talend Platform for Big Data. Talend Platform for Big Data now allows user to analyze data in their Hive database on Hadoop, profiling the data “in place” without being extracted. Additionally, the company announces support for NoSQL databases in its integration solutions, Talend Platform for Big Data and Talend Open Studio for Big Data, including initial set of connectors for Cassandra, HBase and MongoDB.
Tervela released Tervela Turbo, its data movement engine that feeds applications on the front line of business with data. Features include real-time data capture, fault tolerance, burst management and data collection from numerous sources, including mobile phones, Web logs and sensors.
Zettaset released Orchestrator v5, its Hadoop big data management platform. New features include support for Lightweight Directory Access Protocol and Active Directory, centralized configuration management, logging and auditing, and role-based access control.
