Badgeville, a gamification and behavior management platform, launched Badgeville for Adobe Marketing Cloud. The solution eliminates the need to manually move customer behavior data into an analytics platform through integration with Adobe's Test&Target, SiteCatalyst and Recommendations offerings. The platform automatically accesses behavior data from a website, displays product recommendations based on user engagement and tests Badgeville Engagement Mechanics across multiple audiences.  

Compuware unveiled two new application performance management solutions. Compuware APM for PHP features user experience management, Web server visibility, PHP analytics and database access. Compuware APM AJAX Edition 4 includes support for Firefox 17 and 18, as well as legacy versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox (IE 6+ and FF3.6+); the release also integrates with, which tests and compares site performance from locations around the world. 

Knoll Ontrack launched Ontrack Online Backup, a cloud backup and storage solution. Features include remote data access, access to file version history and continuous data protection, which occurs either when a change is detected or when scheduled by the user. 

IBM unveiled SmartCloud Orchestrator, a private cloud offering based on OpenStack software. The solution cuts requirements for specific interfaces for different cloud services; features a graphical organizer for automating cloud tasks; and includes a self-service portal that enables users to measure the cost and charge-back of cloud services. Mu Sigma unveiled its first analytics software solution, muPDNA. In a single workbench, the solution outlines aspects of business problems, such as current state, desired outcomes, key questions and hypotheses. The three components of the solution are: SCQ (Situation, Complication and Question), a Factor Map, which allows for the visualization of influencing factors, and the Hypothesis Matrix, allowing users to test hypotheses on a color coded matrix. 

NetApp unveiled NetApp E5500, its storage platform for high performance computing and big data workloads. The platform features a modular architecture that can be used with file systems, such as Lustre and Hadoop, to scale up to 1440TB and can contain up to 360 disk drives. 

Oracle unveiled Oracle Database Appliance X3-2, a redundant system of software, server, storage and networking solutions. Features include 512 GB of memory, 18 TB SAS disk storage, 800 GB flash and support for virtualization.

Panorama Software released the latest version of Panorama Necto, its BI solution which integrates social networks and recommendation systems. New features include an in-memory BI engine, powered by xVelocity, for ad-hoc data analysis; Web-based self-service modeling; and native mobile applications. 

Paraleap Technologies announced the latest edition of AzureWatch, its monitoring platform for Microsoft’s Azure cloud. Features include real-time dashboards and support for the monitoring of SQL Azure, SQL Federations, Azure Storage, websites and SSL certificates. The update also includes the AzureWatch Management Portal, which enables users to establish monitoring and autoscaling rules.

Rackspace Hosting announced new features to its open source Rackspace Private Cloud Software, powered by OpenStack. Updates include OpenCenter, a single interface for deploying, configuring and operating clouds at scale in an enterprise data center, as well as API or point-and-click deployment of environments. Users can also choose from Ubuntu, Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS for their host operating system. (For more on this story, click here.)

SAP announced updates to its family of SAP Customer OnDemand Solution products. SAP Sales OnDemand now features mobile apps and an updated user interface. SAP Social OnDemand and SAP Service OnDemand now feature a self-service Web portal and an interface for computer telephony integration. The SAP Social Media Analytics application by NetBase now features support for 19 additional languages, as well as a Focus Wizard, which streamlines topic refinement. 

Terracotta released the latest version of its in-memory data platform. BigMemory v4.0 features Hadoop integration, Java 7 support, Terracotta Management Console (a Web dashboard for the management of distributed in-memory cores) and 60 percent faster data access from the previous version. 

Vision Solutions released Double-Take Share 5.1, which automates data sharing between databases. Updates include support for Microsoft SQL Server 2012, increased performance for IBM i and Teradata environments, and support for IBM z/OS 1.12 and z/OS 1.13.
