Cloud.com released CloudStack 2.2, the new version of its open source cloud computing platform. Capabilities in version 2.2 of the platform include hypervisor independence, integration for virtual or physical network architecture, borderless scalability, role-based delegation at various administrator levels, and operability with other cloud solutions.

Devart presented new versions of dbExpress, its database drivers for access to Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, InterBase and Firebird. A database-independent layer that defines commone interface for access to database servers, enhancements in the new versions include direct mode functionality for Oracle, improved functionality with PostgreSQL

eTrigue Corporation debuted its marketing automation platform, DemandCenter. eTrigue DemandCenter contains a drag-and-drop interface, simultaneous campaign views, drill-down analysis and filtering, real-time alerts, pre-designed best practice campaign templates and capabilities to copy all or part of existing marketing efforts for replication and sharing.

Fuzzy Logix LLC announced the availability of its in-database analytics library working within IBM Informix database software. The product, DB Lytix, contains functions for mathematical and statistical analysis, data mining and Monte Carlo simulations

Instant Technologies released an update to its same-time archiving application, IMtegrity Archives v4.13. The new version of the financial services organization application includes support for image transfers, as well as scalability and compliance enhancements.

Logicalis launched its Logicalis Enterprise Power Cloud. Built for IBM users, Logicalis Enterprise Power Cloud includes containers capable of supporting AIX and i5os workloads, VIOS support, storage powered by IBM XIV Storage System and constant monitoring.

ParTech Inc. released its new enterprise point-of-sale (POS) software solution, PAR EverServ QSR. Released along with a slew of Web-based solution services to its POS suite, PAR EverServ QSR is built on SOA with a variety of order-taking capabilities, suggestive selling tools, integrated marketing/order confirmation displays, along with connections to the suite’s configuration manager and back office tools.  

Pentaho Corporation made available an updated version of enterprise Pentaho BI suite. New functionality in Pentaho BI Suite Enterprise Edition 3.8 includes: guided analysis for defining links between documents; interactive dashboards without coding; data caching; integration with Hadoop; as well as various design tools.

Quantrix released a new version of its business modeling and analytics software solution. Quantrix Modeler 4.0 includes new features such as: publishing business and financial models to Quantrix Qloud, a server hosted by Quantrix; calculation speed improvements of between 50 and 85 percent; customized model actions with scripting; and connections for Windows and Mac platforms.

XediX launched its financial services digital reporting format software, XBRL Analytics. Including both native XBRL data storage and reporting capabilities, the software includes instant setup, real-time data availability and referencing, analytics sharing and comparisons, and integration with third-party applications.
