Anametrix released upgrades to its suite of business analytics solutions. InstaVista 3.0 features include real-time multi-channel attribution and connections, visualizations of online and offline information, cloud-based multi-channel attribution across the user base, and real-time uploads from Microsoft Excel data for every data source.

GigaSpaces Technologies released its second-generation cloud-enablement platform. The GigaSpaces platform, for building Platform- and Software as a Service environments, includes enhancements to eliminate architecture silos, built-in DevOps to manage the application middleware, and enable cross-stack multi-tenancy from the Web tier to the customer and data object levels.

HP announced new data storage offerings for virtualization and data deduplication from its acquisition of 3Par. The 3Par Utility Storage system, now managed as part of HP CloudSystem, is a complete integrated system to build and deliver services across private, public and hybrid clouds. HP X9300 Network Storage Gateway has now been qualified for use with 3Par systems and the company also announced the availability of its data deduplication system, HP D2D4324 Backup System.

Opentaps released version 1.5 of its ERP and CRM system. Built on Apache OFBiz 10.04 and Tomcat 6.0.26 and built to run on Amazon’s EC2 Cloud, new features include more easily change configurations, customization without code changes, and a Web user interface stored in the database.

Oracle introduced Oracle PeopleSoft Mobile Inventory Management, a mobile application for inventory accuracy. The management application includes capabilities for inventory organization through barcode scanning, automated data entry, enhanced time-motion activities, multiple device support, and security leveraged by Oracle’s PeopleSoft system.

Precise announced the availability of Precise 9.0, which enables IT application owners to manage their quality of service of their applications during and after migration to a cloud infrastructure. Features in Precise 9.0 include tracking for all transactions from every user level, automatic transaction problem location and visual representations of the impacts of events on performance.

RainStor unveiled the latest version of its data retention and retrival software, RainStor 4.5. The new version includes high performance data ingestion, increased compression rates for large data sets, quickened query and response across archives, and enhanced deployments.

Red Hat announced the availability of Jboss Enterprise SOA Platform 5.1, featuring an Apache CXF Web services stack and an updated developer studio for SOA tooling. The platform also includes Jboss Enterprise Data Services Platform 5.1, an open source data virtualization and integration platform for data services tool creation from multiple data stores using different formats.

TechCFO launched its reporting, tracking and financial management system, TechCFO SaaSOptics. TechCFO SaaSOptics features: instant access to subscription metrics; contract management and renewal; balance sheet reporting; tracking for client metadata and other information; and financial data planning and forecasting.

Vortimac Software released Dossier 2.6 for Mac OS X. The information management tool includes updates such as better drag and drop support, multiple documents and simultaneous viewers per document, and enhancements to the calendar, folder dragging ability and interfact.
