Birst, in collaboration with NetSuite, released Birst Solution Accelerator for NetSuite. The analytical solution integrates with NetSuite’s SuideCloud Computing Platform to provide pre-built reports and metadata, and offers access to every object within NetSuite.
Cloudera unveiled the public beta of Cloudera Search, its integrated search engine for data stored in HDFS and Apache HBase. The solution enables users to perform natural language keyword searches and faceted navigation of data stored in Hadoop. Cloudera Search offers scalable indexing options via Apache Flume, batch indexing via MapReduce and near real-time document processing.
Comm100 released updates to its customer service and communication solution. Comm100 Live Chat is optimized for mobile use and also includes an updated iOS app, featuring a redesigned user interface and help wizard.
Compuware unveiled PureStack Technology, an APM solution. Combined with Compuware dynaTrace PurePath Technology, PureStack Technology automatically discovers, collects and maps system and infrastructure information, including hypervisor, operating system, storage, process and CPU, providing enhanced root-cause analysis.
Enterasys Networks unveiled updates to IdentiFi, its SDN solution. IdentiFi offers SDN for both wired and wireless consumers, allows IT to decide how traffic paths are engineered and managed, either forwarded locally, centrally or a combination of both, and supports multiple traffic paths on a single SSID based on user identity.
Halon released Halon Secure Load Balancer. The load balancer features cluster functionality, security based on IPv6 and SSL compability.
Orchestro launched version 8 of its demand signal repository offering, both as software and in the cloud. The update includes: automated product data aggregation through its Harmonizer feature; enhanced analytic reporting and application workflow through its Maestro Science Engine; and its cloud-based ShelfSense application for monitoring and assessment of on-shelf availability.
Panopticon unveiled the latest version of its data visualization software suite. Panopticon 6.2.2 now features real-time streaming from the Thomas Reuters Enterprise Platform for Real-Time, 3D Surface Plot visualization, and enhanced connectivity for the Active-MQ message bus, Streambase and SAP Sybase ESP Complex Event Processing Engines, kx and OneTick in-memory tick databases, and JSON data sources.
Splunk, in partnership with Cloudmeter, released Cloudmeter Stream for Splunk Enterprise, offering real-time big data analytics for Splunk users. The release minimizes blind spots and contextualizes network data, including data from websites, applications, servers, mobile devices and sensors, and can adjust its data capture requirements ad hoc.
Starview released Orion, its family of pre-configured operational intelligence applications. Orion for Virtualization Management monitors and manages the components of VMs and deployments, including hypervisors, guest OS, VM-deployed applications, cloud deployments and hardware CPU usage, and integrates with VMware and HP’s OpenView. Orion for Server Management monitors, identifies and diagnoses server problems in real time without impacting server performance; users can also set up alerts and outbound integrations. Orion for Distributed Application Management enables IT to monitor a distributed application architecture in real time, including Web logs, Log4J, JMS, JMX and .NET events.
SunGard unveiled SunGard Assurance, its continuity management SaaS offering. The solution offers mobile access, a 99.9 percent uptime SLA and custom scalability.
