BackOffice put out its new data quality as a service offering, QCloud. Offered in the cloud or on-premise, QCloud features more than 500 Web-enabled reports, data quality alerts on a regular basis, capabilities to streamline and pull data from differing, disconnected databases.
dynaTrace updated its application performance management platform, dynaTrace 4. The new generation of the platform includes: dynaTrace PurePath Technology for application oversight; tracking for transactions across the database; enhanced analytics and incident management capabilities; and zero-configuration and auto-discovery at runtime.
HP extended its application lifecycle management tools with its new offering, HP Service Virtualization 1.0. The new suite enables developers to simulate a service that exists in a production environment in the confines of a testing scenario, and also includes an application lifecycle intelligence module that maps dependencies on various source code modules.
IBM launched a new cloud-based Web analytics and digital marketing suite. Geared toward automated online marketing campaigns, IBM Coremetrics Web Analytics and Digital Marketing Optimization Suite includes automated and tailored online experience and promotions campaigns, real-time personalized recommendations, email ad targeting, segmentation of off- and online data sources, and A/B testing capabilities.
McObject launched eXtremeDB, its clustering database system for distributed embedded software and real-time enterprise applications. eXtremeDB manages data stores across multiple hardware nodes, enables two or more servers to share workloads, and harnesses the provider’s transaction management system.
Oracle unveiled a new product as part of its recent acquisition of Datanomic. Oracle Enterprise Data Quality is part of the company’s Fusion Middleware, and enables data sharing across disparate systems, development on open standards, and design for pre-built data quality applications.
Replicon announced the availability of Smart Interface for Replicon Web TimeSheet. The free updates include a user interface redesign, streamlined task selector, integrated search capabilities and enhanced speed.
WebAPP-Dev Perl released the inaugural edition of its content management system written in Perl. WebAPP-Dev version 1.0 includes social networking and mobile features, and capabilities to set Perl script up on the user’s site.
