Alteryx unveiled Alteryx for Visual Analytics. This platform enables users to blend data sources, perform predictive analytics with R and deliver data natively to Tableau Software.

CA Technologies released the latest version of CA Nimsoft Service Desk. The solution now features self-service/cloud automation, enhanced mobile functionality (including geographic location and the ability to leverage native phone capabilities, such as GPS and camera) and integration with third-party service desks, including Cisco Smarts and SAP Solution Manager.

Coveo announced new capabilities for its search application, Coveo for Salesforce. Available on the salesforce.com AppExchange, the application enables instant indexing and integration of Salesforce Knowledge, SharePoint Online and Chatter Answers.

Egnyte announced the latest version of its namesake enterprise storage and sharing solution. The offering now integrates with Google Drive, with the ability to store Google Drive and MS Office files inside of Egnyte folders, and enables users to access files via enterprise storage NAS and SAN devices.

Deltek launched Kona Business, the premium version of its cloud-based social collaboration and productivity platform. Kona Business includes shared task lists and calendars, APIs and Deltek product integrations, polling, file sharing integration (with Box, Google Drive, Dropbox, for example) and a mobile app for iOS and Android devices. 

Oracle unveiled its Exalytics In-Memory Machine X3-4. Compatible with Oracle’s mobile solution BI Mobile HD, the system now features 2 TB of main memory, 2.4 TB of flash storage and 5.4 TB of hard disk. 

Riverbed Technology updated the Riverbed Granite product family, for server and data consolidation. Granite 2.5 now includes Fibre Channel to its iSCSI support, automated snapshots and a centralized management user interface. The Steelhead EX 1360 model appliance supports high-performance applications, such as transactional databases and geographic information systems, consolidates large data sets back to the data center and enables organizations with heavy compute and storage workloads to deploy Granite storage delivery solutions without performance degradation.

Rocket Software unveiled Rocket z/SQL for IBM System z customers. The release enables organizations access to non-relational mainframe data through any SQL tool  without moving data off the mainframe, and also integrates with RACF, CA Top Secret and CA ACF2, for secure data access.

Tableau released Tableau Online, its SaaS or hosted version of Tableau Server. The release enables users to share dashboards and edit data from any Web browser, iPad or Android Tablet, and the solution automatically refreshes from cloud data sources, such as salesforce.com and Google Analytics. 

1010data unveiled 1010data Retail Vendor Portal, its data sharing and discovery solution. The solution enables retailers to share proprietary data, including POS, inventory and loyalty programs with supplier partners; features include analytics across sales, supply chain management and marketing strategies, ad-hoc data discovery tools and links to third-party data, such as weather and demographics.
