CloudPassage expanded its Halo Cloud Security Platform to protect Windows Servers running in the cloud. Halo, who also supports all major Linux distributions, allows users to centrally manage cloud firewalls across multiple operating systems and cloud deployments, secure administrative and application ports with a SMS-powered multi-factor authentication service, notifying users of critical cloud server security events. 

Coraid unveiled Coraid ZX-Series family of NAS servers, their unified storage solution powered by the Oracle Solaris ZFS file system. Designed for cloud, video and big data costumers, this release combines ZFS and scale-out Ethernet SAN, providing multi-petabyte scalability, integrating and secure data sharing between Microsoft Windows, Linus and UNIV environments and redundant array of independent nodes.

Eversync unveiled its hardware product line, including tradition backupappliances as well as data protection appliances, all featuring Eversync OS 5.0. These appliances protect up to 100 TB of data, aggregate multiple 1G ethernet ports, offer multi-site replication, support Microsoft Exchange and SQL Server, and are offered on mobile devices.  

FileTek announced the release of its Value Realization Modeler, a cost benefit analysis tool. This release blends existing SSD, RAID, SAN, disk and tape-based storage to provide a storage environment which delivers net present value, internal rate of return, profitability index and ROI.

Oracle introduced Oracle Taleo Cloud Service Feature Pack 12B, previously known as Taleo Enterprise Edition. This full talent management solution enables organizations to blend recruiting, performance and operational data from disparate external sources, search and filter talent in seconds and manage calibration decision in real time.

Quantum released StorNext 4.3, a data management solution for file sharing and archiving. Available as a software-only solution or integrated in StorNext appliance, this release supports up to one billion files and petabytes of tiered storage, Active Vault - a more affordable  vault within the tape library, immediate archival and a proprietary Distributed LAN Client.

SAP released SAP Net Margin Analysis and SAP Visual Intelligence software, as well as making updates to SAP Business Objects BI Solutions. SAT Net Margin Analysis, an application which offers a complete financial view of B2B operations, offers a granular view of profit and cost generators and can enhance product mix, order frequency, channel logistics and distribution. SAP Visual Intelligence Software, a suite of user friendly analytical tools, provides views to Excel and CSV files and collaborative connectivity on the desktop. SAP Business Objects BI Solutions contains enhancement for mobility, as well as compatibility with Apple and Android formats.

VMware unveiled VMware vFabric Data Director with support of virtualization of Oracle databases, which is designed to simplify and automate database lifecycle management, allowing organizations to deliver a database as a service. This release offers expanded database support for Oracle 10gR2, Oracle 11gR2 and vFabric Postgres 9.1; automated physical-to-virtual migration; and APIs for integration with other products such as vCloud Director, vFabric Application Director, EMC Data Domain, and Greenplum Chorus.

X-IO unveiled ISE Station X, a family of enterprise-ready solutions that utilize Hyper ISE and ISE 2 Intelligent Storage Elements. This release provides self-healing disk technology, and enhanced reliability compared with a regular disk drive and multiple base configurations.
