BMC Software announced the release of BMC Control-M Self Service, a workload automation solution. Through a Web-based interface, BMC Control-M Self Service enables users to check the status of their work, make workload processing changes for transactions and access a service catalog of predefined workloads.
CDS Global announced the launch of its Web-based business intelligence reporting solution, InFOCUS BI+. The new product enables data summarizations, organization and reviews, rich visualization options, report grouping, and information targeting.
CloudPassage Inc. introduced two security products for elastic cloud environments. Halo SVM addresses server vulnerability management with assessments and configuration of user servers. Halo Firewall is built to control server attacks by centralizing and automating host-based firewall management, enabling customers with unified, cloud policy management from a Web-based front end.
Coradiant Inc. put out the newest version of its TrueSight Enterprise Edition software solution. Features in TrueSight Enterprise Edition include: end-to-end and enterprisewide Web application performance view; enhanced scalability; the addition of data centers and other means of application delivery; and capabilities for growing amount of Web traffic data.
Dell KACE announced enhancements to its Dell KACE K1000 Management Appliance. Released along with an updated version of Dell KACE Firefox Secure Browser, the additions to the systems management solution involve: support for new Federal Desktop Core Configurations; tightened browser security; simplified endpoint configuration management; and a new security content automation protocol scanner.
HP announced the availability HP Hybrid Delivery solutions, a new suite of products and services for performance and security in the cloud. Among the solutions included in the suite are: HP Enterprise Cloud Services-Compute, a private cloud as a service; and HP CloudSystem, an integrated system to build and manage across private, public and hybrid cloud environments with support for HP Cloud Maps for cloud application and infrastructure resources.
Infinitely Virtual announced additions to its server management control panel, InfinitePanel. With InfinitePanel, Web server users can obtain and send data to databases, present data online, access multiple domains, create custom error pages, and gather website information through various tracking tools.
Intergraph Security, Government and Infrastructure announced updates to its BI application, Business Intelligence for Public Safety. In Business Intelligence for Public Safety version 1.1.2., users can unlock data collected in public safety applications for visualization, reports and analysis, as well as inform the public.
NetSuite Inc. launched a new version of its cloud-based enterprise resource planning software, NetSuite Software Company Edition. The latest edition includes enhancements to automation and real-time renewal, billing and contract management, as well as uplift and discount management, reporting and visibility, and revenue recognition.
Nuxeo released Nuxeo Studio 2.0, an updated version of its customization and design environment delivered as a service. Enhancements in Nuxeo Studio 2.0 include design tools to help application developers build and deploy new features, view content configuration, receive notifications, define user groups, and change content through XML and HTML.
OmniIT launched new data overlays to its Circonus software as a service business tracking tool. The new event processing features enable users to visualize current business against past years, and load data initiatives for expected future changes.
OpenERP has released the latest edition of its open source ERP business application suite. OpenERP 6.0 includes a new user interface, consolidated application process, extended multi-company functionality, push and pull logistical flows, and the ability to start with a single application and build out to end-to-end integration.
Oracle announced enhancements to Oracle WebCenter Suite 11g, a component of Oracle Fusion Middleware. Updates to Oracle WebCenter Suite 11g enable the addition of social computing capabilities to existing portals, assembly of composite applications through the company’s common use experience architecture, and the development and deployment of internal and external portals and websites, composite applications and mashups.
Standing Cloud Inc. launched an application network for small and medium-size businesses. Standing Cloud Application Network features the company’s application management services, along with full-time monitoring, frequent and accessible backups, auto-recovery, version management, scaling as application use grows and cloud application hosting.
TIBCO Software Inc. announced the availability of tibbr, a social computing tool for the workplace. Features in tibbr include: real-time item tracking; user-created and contributed event streams; customizable search; choice in update frequency; and functionality for mobile computing.
