arcplan presented an updated version of its solution for business intelligence collaboration. arcplan Engage 2.0 features enhanced functions for alerts on new content, reports, authors and rating, as well as an enhanced search feature and integration with the vendor’s self-service ad-hoc solution.
CA Technologies announced the new release of CA Clarity Project and Portfolio Management. New or enhanced in the latest version are features to manage innovation lifecycles, streamlined menus and search, enhanced charts and dashboards, and a new user interface.
Decision Lens debuted the newest version of its enterprise software tool for prioritization and resource management. Features new or enhanced with Decision Lens 3 include: detailed visualizations; voting navigations; change management analytics; and user field population from systems of record.
Host Analytics released its new offerings for enterprise resource planning. Host Analytics Connector Packs are pre-built to pull in data from various ERP sources into a corporate performance management application, and are available on-premise or in the cloud.
IBM released the latest edition of its social networking software. IBM Connections version 3.0.1 starts with a social networking style interface that ties in a business activity stream and information search of structured and unstructured such that from Twitter, Facebook, videos, log files and SAP applications. Melissa Data released Contact Zone, its open source data integration software. Geared toward contact data quality, Contact Zone includes a graphical user interface for data mapping, data targeting without programming and drag-and-drop cleansing.
OpenText made enhancements to the second generation of its social analytics offering. OpenText Web and Social Analytics 2.0 features a page heat map; page, element and site level indicators; as well as enhanced social activity monitors and customized KPIs.
PivotLink put out PivotLink Retail Data Library, a SaaS for retail marketers. From a single interface, PivotLink Retail Data Library features data exploration from social, mobile and location-based sources, as well as data insight from inventories, weather and economic conditions.
RiT Technologies unveiled its new data center infrastructure management solution. RiT CenterMind enables real-time views of data center information and metrics, power consumption maintenance controls, and infrastructure management hardware for network assets.
Talend made available Talend Platform for Data Services, its first solution built on the Talend Unified Platform. Built atop a shared metadata repository, the new solution features a graphical user interface, a deployment mechanism and runtime environment for operations, a monitoring console for management.
Tableau revamped its namesake BI platform. Tableau 7.0 is highlighted by its Data Server, a feature that enables any business data user to add their own customized needs or input from outside programs and sources, and publish an extract or database connection to the centralized data. Other new features to version 7.0 include new maps and area charts in its analytics toolbox, enhanced analytics parameters and connections to Hadoop and Vectorwise. Xerox launched its Web-based tool for press data maintenance. Xerox iGen4 Presses is a real-time production information performance management tool that tracks machine status, productivity metrics, and change management from a desktop or tablet.
