Adaptive Planning rolled out two new solutions in its applications portfolio. Sales Planning & Analysis features CRM data forecasting, management for sales and compensation, and sales performance analysis and snapshots. Multi-Entity Planning and Analysis features cycle monitoring, scheduling on separate timelines and scenarios, staged solution deployment, and allowances for information sharing.

ADVSoft announced the release of ProxyInspector 3.1 Enterprise, the latest version of its traffic monitoring and employee tracking software. Version 3.1 includes a search phrase report with administrator oversight and a log analyzer that can automatically import log files from proxy servers to generate reports.

Attivio unveiled its regulation risk monitoring and management solution, Active Regulatory Management (ARM). Features in the Active Regulatory Management solution include: Regulation monitoring on hundreds of website; internal policy indexing; hierarchical regulation and rules dashboard; automatic ticketing of policies that need to be updated; all built on Attivio’s Active Intelligence Engine.

Birst Inc. announced the availability of Birst 4 Winter Release 2011, an on-demand business intelligence solution. Birst 4 Winter Release includes Birst Memory Expression, a new in-memory engine, an automated pre-aggregation engine for large data sets and a connector that gives more support for SAP data.

EMC Corporation made three new additions to its EMC Greenplum Data Computing Appliance products. Additions include: High Capacity DCA, for hosting petabyte-levels of data with limited impact on consumption and space; High Performance DCA, a solid state-drive that enables numerous concurrent users; and Greenplum Database version 4.1, which features extended analytics and Hadoop features, and enhancements to its workload management and system monitoring capabilities.

HP made additions to its information management portfolio. Along with management services, HP released: HP Integrated Archive Platform, with scaling to manage up to 1 petabyte of data per day; HP TRIM Enterprise Records Management, enhanced with multijurisdictional retention automation; HP Database Archiving, integrated with TRIM and connected to data archiving and retirement from legacy systems; and HP Data Protector software with down-to-the-second snapshot recovery for 3Par and other arrays.

Infor launched Infor Workspace. The tool features a refined enterprise application user interface for navigation across applications on-premise or in the cloud, as well as mapping information on goods, global currency conversion, and enhancements to analytics and systems monitoring.

Jitterbit launched the latest version of its software for on-premise and cloud integration. Jitterbit 4.0 enhancements include: Jitterbit Connect wizards for non-technical user integration configuration, new levels of performance for high volume data and a revamped user interface.

Lawson Software introduced ViewPonit for Lawson Business Intelligence. An analytic application builder connected to Lawson’s other office and BI offerings, ViewPoint enables user-created reports and dashboards without IT, distribution of links, creation of discussion groups, and analysis across disparate systems.

WaveMark Inc. put out the fifth generation of its Clinical Business Intelligence and Real Time Inventory Management (CIMS) solution set. New to the CIMS set are user-defined dashboard, additional statistical algorithms and enhancements to inventory tracking.
