New Exception Management Solution Will Help Infogix's Customers Expedite the Automated Matching of Transactions

  • September 19 2006, 1:00am EDT

Infogix, a leading provider of automated information controls solutions, reaffirmed its commitment to information integrity by previewing a new solution designed to detect, manage and resolve exceptions at its annual "Evolving to Enterprise Controls" user conference in Chicago. Called Infogix EM, the solution will enhance the company's current product offering by providing a flexible tool to research and resolve exceptions.

"Given that it brings together managers, professionals and users who plan and deploy automated controls throughout their enterprise, we believe the annual user conference serves as a perfect forum for us to preview the latest addition to our portfolio of integrated automated information controls" said Sumit Nijhawan, group leader of product development for Infogix. "The development of Infogix EM is another example of our committment to providing a full range of integrated automated control solutions to help our customers assure the accuracy, consistency and reliability of their information."

Infogix EM helps companies better manage the exception management process with a reporting feature that generates status reports for all items in process, correction reports that list items by type, as well as activity reports that breakdown actions by user. Companies can quickly annotate and attach supporting documentation to any item in the exception queue, and filter these exceptions to multiple management levels for rapid approval or rejection. With the help of Infogix EM, companies can improve the integrity of their critical business processes across the enterprise and directly impact their bottom line.

"As new technologies disrupt traditional business models and trigger strategic transformations, gaining control over the emerging information flows becomes a source of power within and outside the organization," said Guillermo Kopp, TowerGroup vice president. "A first leadership move is to envision the desired state of information assets that will drive innovation and change through diverse business models, product and service offerings, and operational processes."

The information packed general sessions at the annual user conference will extend the impact of Information Integrity across industries, including insurance and healthcare, financial services, retail and telecommunications, and illustrate the benefit of these practices with customer case study examples. In addition, the opening sessions presented by Infogix's executive management team will detail upcoming company and product initiatives, and set the stage for individual breakout sessions that will address best practices and automated controls, industry standards and controls, Infogix product particulars and strategies for mitigating risk.
