Athletic shoe company New Balance is using Demandware Commerce to support its worldwide, online shopping strategy, according to Demandware, whose software-as-a-service e-commerce offerings are designed to enable companies to quickly implement and manage customized e-commerce sites.

New Balance recently launched several new e-commerce sites on Demandware, including New Balance and Warrior brands in the U.S. and U.K., and Cobb Hill, Aravon and Dunham in the U.S.

The company plans to use Demandware to launch additional sites in new international markets and for other brands, including PF Flyers.

“As we continue to expand our business across multiple geographies, we needed to find a highly flexible and scalable, digital commerce solution that would support our growth and allow us to deliver a superior shopping experience to all of our consumers across all our brands,” Pamela Hart, director of e-commerce for New Balance, said in a statement. “We are confident that Demandware’s platform is the commerce engine we were looking for to help us grow our business today and in the future.”
