Base, an intelligent sales productivity platform, announced a new set of powerful, real-time features that give sales leaders the tools to make an immediate impact on the productivity of their teams. These features mark the beginning of a shift in the CRM industry - from static to real-time - by coupling beautiful and powerful end user apps with critical sales reporting.
Dell Software has upgraded its Toad data and database management solutions, including new releases of Toad Data Point, the company’s multi-platform database query tool, and Toad Intelligence Central, its collaboration server for data sharing across teams. The new releases deliver a host of enhancements that enable customers to improve data quality, increase data connectivity, and more easily share data sets across a variety of tools.
GridGain Systems, a provider of open source in-memory computing solutions, announced the launch of the GridGain In-Memory Data Fabric, a software solution that accelerates business operations and time to insights by enabling high-performance transactions, real-time streaming and fast analytics in a single, scalable data access and processing layer. The In-Memory Data Fabric offers a strategic approach to in-memory computing while reducing the cost and complexity of deploying high-performance data processing.
MemSQL, a provider of distributed in-memory database technology, announced the availability of MemSQL v3, which combines an in-memory row store with a flash-optimized column store. With the addition of the column store and features such as automatic cross-data center replication, this release further cements MemSQL's commitment to bringing Hybrid Transaction/Analytic Processing (HTAP) to the enterprise.
Among a number of announcements, Oracle extended Oracle Enterprise Manager capabilities to MySQL databases. With this new offering, customers can manage complex deployments of Oracle technologies that include MySQL, either on-premises or in a cloud. Oracle also announced the general availability of Oracle OpenStack for Oracle Linux distribution, which allows users to control Oracle Linux and Oracle VM through OpenStack in production environments.
Yellowfin, a global business intelligence and analytics software vendor, launched the latest version of its BI platform, Yellowfin 7.1. Enhancements in Yellowfin 7.1 concentrate on extending three core technical areas by boosting Location Intelligence capabilities, improving CSV support and increasing the number of visualizations supported by Yellowfin’s Auto Chart functionality.
