SOASTA Inc., a provider of cloud and mobile testing products, announced the newest version of its mPulse offering, which it says uses real user monitoring technology to non-invasively measure user experience by providing customized metrics and timers.
The product is designed to allow businesses to optimize user experience on mobile and Web applications. A free version, mPulse Lite, is available with custom metrics to enhance RUM analytics.
Running on SOASTA’s massively scalable analytics engine, the latest release of mPulse collects all the data on up to billions of beacons. With 100 percent of the data to report on, no blind spots in user behavior are overlooked, according to the company.
The product now gives developers and designers the control they need to create custom timers and measure beyond page speed to custom components and third-party services to provide finite data for service level agreement management and enforcement.

One customer, Charanjeet Singh, CTO of Backcountry, an online retailer for outdoor gear and accessories, said “mPulse has enhanced our business by providing us with actionable data to see the real user impact on our business.”
