More than 3,000 Hyperion customers and partners gathered together this week in Las Vegas at Hyperion's annual Solutions conference. The global conference attracted business performance management professionals, many of whom work in finance or IT, from some 25 countries and scores of vertical industries.

This year's conference, themed "Power to Perform," features more than 250 sessions, many of which are being led by customers and partners. Many of the customer and partner presentations will be focusing on how companies are using business performance management software and processes to meet increasingly stringent financial reporting and accounting standards and how companies are using the software to perform in the persistently difficult economy.

The event also showcases new Hyperion products designed to help customers translate strategies into plans, monitor execution, address pressing reporting and compliance issues, and provide insight on how to better manage and improve financial and operational performance.
