MicroStrategy Incorporated, a leading worldwide provider of business intelligence software, announced plans to port MicroStrategy's business intelligence platform to the HP-UX 11i operating system on HP Integrity servers, which are built using the newest Intel Itanium 2 processor-based architecture.
Upon completion of the port, expected in the second half of 2005, the MicroStrategy product line will be available on each of the three predominant UNIX platforms (HP, IBM and Sun), significantly expanding MicroStrategy's UNIX footprint in the business intelligence market.
