One of DAMA International's objectives is to increase the size and scope of the DAMA International Symposium so that it becomes the world's premier conference in information management.

The DAMA International Symposium and Meta Data Conference 2000 event doubled in size to nearly 900 attendees. DAMA International and Wilshire Conferences have again joined forces and created a larger and more comprehensive event than ever before. DAMA International would like to thank the members of the DAMA symposium review committee and Wilshire Conferences who participated in the difficult task of reviewing hundreds of high-quality submissions and selecting the best presentations for this event.

The 13th Annual DAMA International Symposium and 5th Annual Meta Data Conference will be held March 4-8, 2001, in Anaheim, California. This year, the expanded program offers four preconference workshops, eight full-day tutorials, six conference tracks and an enhanced agenda on XML and Web data management.

The conference features presentations on every topic of significance to information management professionals including data quality, data warehousing, CRM, e- business, XML, data integration, enterprise architecture, knowledge management, UML, data modeling, meta data management, business rules, data architecture and data stewardship.
