Fair Isaac's new CEO is Mark Greene, a 12-year IBM veteran most recently head of sales and distribution for IBM's Financial Services business unit. Greene voiced commitment to enterprise decision management (EDM) as a core direction and integrated client networks (ICNs) as sales strategy but underscored the need for meaningful changes in sales, marketing and development.
Greene's background in Financial Services sales appears a logical move for Fair Isaac and contrasts with the prior CEO's consulting background. As a former Fair Isaac partner and champion at IBM, we believe Greene's perspective as an informed outsider will be critical in effecting changes to the organization while cultivating key alliances and partnerships.
