December 10, 2008 - Lyzasoft, Inc. announced that Lyza’s desktop analysis software has been tested and fully supports the Fedora 8, 9 and Ubuntu 8.10 Linux distributions.

Business analysts operating in heterogeneous environments have an all-in-one data integration, analysis and reporting product with Lyza. In addition to its support for Linux, Lyza also runs on Windows and Mac and is available for free trial download.

"In order for end-user analysis tools to gain broader acceptance, vendors need to reduce complexity for users and support them where they work," said Mark Madsen, president of Third Nature, a leading IT consultancy specializing in open source and business intelligence. "This announcement by Lyzasoft delivers on the promise of putting compelling integration and analysis software in the hands of business analysts and allowing them to effectively collaborate across platform."
