LiveOffice, a provider of cloud-based, e-mail archiving, compliance, discovery and continuity services, announced the EHA Fast Pass migration program, a transition service the company developed with Microsoft to streamline the process of moving Microsoft Exchange Hosted Archive (EHA) customers to LiveOffice cloud archiving.

Following the launch of Microsoft Office 365 in June 2011, Microsoft began the process of transitioning EHA customers to Exchange Online Archiving—the next generation of the company’s cloud-based archiving solution. To help customers in cases where their email archiving needs can’t be met by either Exchange Online Archiving or the built-in archiving capabilities of Office 365, Microsoft partnered with LiveOffice to offer existing EHA customers an alternative choice.

The LiveOffice migration program applies to companies that can’t meet the minimum technical requirements for Exchange Online Archiving; that have specific industry or governmental regulation requirements; or that need to archive other content types, such as Microsoft SharePoint, instant messages or social media.

“Our primary focus is delivering the best possible customer experience during this transition to our new Exchange Online Archiving service, and by working closely with Microsoft, LiveOffice is helping us deliver upon this goal,” Ian Hameroff, group product manager of Exchange partner marketing at Microsoft, said in a statement. “The EHA Fast Pass migration program is an example of how our collaboration with LiveOffice puts the customer first without risking the preservation of this business critical data our customers have entrusted us with safeguarding.”

LiveOffice designed the EHA Fast Pass migration program to ensure a smooth data migration from EHA to LiveOffice, while preserving metadata for chain of custody. The company will offer the EHA to LiveOffice migration at no cost.
