KPMG expands Data and Analytics master's degree program
Big Four firm KPMG announced last week that their Master of Accounting with Data and Analytics Program has expanded to nine U.S. schools, up from two in 2016. 135 participating students will now have access to full tuition, career opportunities, and support from the firm upon graduation.
“KPMG’s expanded investment in the data and analytics program demonstrates the firm’s commitment to the future of the audit and tax professions,” said Frank Casal, KPMG’s U.S. vice chair of Audit, per a statement. “We’re pleased to include prestigious institutions who share this focus and are equally passionate about their students building advanced skills in accounting, tax and data analytics that they can bring into the marketplace.”
The program began last August when the Ohio State University's Max M. Fisher College of Business and the Villanova School of Business launched the program with 51 students. The program includes access to KPMG technologies in academic studies, scholarships, and the opportunity to intern on KPMG audit or tax teams. Graduating students can also join the firm via an entry program when they complete their studies.
