Knightsbridge Solutions, in a joint venture with the University of California Berkeley Extension and, today announced the creation of a third online course in data warehousing. The three courses form the first accredited online Professional Sequence for data warehousing professionals, blending high-quality academic resources with practical, real-world experience.

For the first time, students, career-changers and business and technical professionals looking to enhance their skill sets can complete one, two or three courses in data warehousing from the convenience of their personal computers, earning a certificate of completion from UC Berkeley Extension upon successfully finishing all three.

The online Professional Sequence is an alternative to the classroom-based Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing Certificate Program available in the San Francisco Bay Area from a partnership of Knightsbridge Solutions and UC Berkeley Extension.  Both programs are taught by experienced data warehousing professionals from Knightsbridge, the largest professional services firm exclusively focused on business intelligence and "big-data" solutions. 

The online Professional Sequence includes the following courses:


  • Data Warehousing and Information Access Strategies: An introduction to what a data warehouse is and how it works.
  • Planning and Project Management of a Data Warehouse: Covers the concepts and issues related to the planning and project management of a successful data.
  • Data Modeling and Designing a Data Warehouse (NEW): Provides the necessary background to understand data modeling concepts, practices and information technology architectures of data warehouses.
