J.D. Edwards and Company has upgraded its licensing contract of Aprimo Marketing. The new extended license will allow J.D. Edwards marketing professionals and company executives worldwide to utilize the Aprimo platform.

J.D. Edwards, a developer of collaborative enterprise software and services, originally selected Aprimo Marketing – an enterprise marketing management (EMM) software solution – as a platform to support the company’s sales growth and improve operational efficiency and financial accountability.The new license extends these capabilities to 17 worldwide J.D. Edwards marketing centers, including the United States, Canada, Central and South America, as well as several countries in Europe, Africa and the Asian and Pacific Rim.

In its initial deployment, Aprimo Marketing replaced a legacy e-mail and marketing automation software package. Previously, key marketing data was only accessible through disparate, offline productivity tools. The Aprimo solution provides a consolidated database of critical information for J.D. Edwards’ marketing teams to access in real-time. In addition to providing marketing automation capabilities to its internal staff, this new license provides secure access to outside vendors – such as advertising agencies and telemarketing firms – to ensure more efficient project collaboration.

Aprimo Marketing allows J.D. Edwards to proficiently manage marketing leads through a well-defined purchase decision cycle. The software also tracks campaign results against marketing expenditures, allowing J.D. Edwards to clearly demonstrate how much revenue is generated for every marketing dollar invested.
