Even the storage market is not immune to the current economic slowdown, which is prompting companies to cut back on spending and take their time funding new information technology projects.
For instance, EMC Corp. today announced estimated revenue and earnings per share for the second quarter of 2001, which ended June 30, 2001. Based on preliminary financial results, EMC expects total consolidated revenue to be approximately $2 billion, and earnings per share to be in the range of $0.04 to $0.06 for the second quarter.
