July 27, 2010 – Information Management has released its first annual list of 40 vendors to watch in 2010.

The choices, based primarily on buzz from customers, analysts and the editorial team’s findings, demonstrate an abundance of information management opportunities among a market of more startups and business models than ever before.

"When we looked at all the current activity in the information management space it was a real challenge to narrow our list to 40 vendors,” said Information Management Editorial Director Jim Ericson.” In the end, the best criteria was that each of the providers we selected offers timely products or services that fill an unmet need or answer a longstanding challenge in an elegant and useful way."

The 40 Vendors We’re Watching joins a list of new industry summaries at Information Management that include 25 Top Information Managers, the IM 50 list of top revenue product and service providers and the longstanding Innovative Solution Awards.
