Informatica Corporation, a leading provider of data integration and business intelligence software, announced a strengthened focus on mid-size enterprises. Encompassing new dedicated resources and pricing options, Informatica's MSE program will help growing mid-market companies turn data integration and business intelligence into strategic components of their long-term IT investments for increased revenue, more profitable customer relationships, and lower operational costs. Representing 103,000 companies in the U.S. alone, midsize enterprises are defined as businesses with 100 to 999 employees and with up to $500 million in annual revenues. Informatica's mid-market focus includes new licensing options that make it more cost-effective for midsize companies to deploy, and subsequently scale, Informatica data integration and business intelligence solutions. This includes data warehouse bundle pricing and CPU pricing to support the incremental expansion needs of high-growth companies. It also includes new enterprise licensing to support companies with integration and visibility needs that extend beyond departmental requirements. Informatica's new mid-size enterprise focus also encompasses a full range of solutions to help companies achieve successful deployments, coupled with educational and information-sharing resources to help customers leverage Informatica to solve multiple business problems. In 2003, Informatica successfully 'went live' with 145 customers, or approximately three customers each week. Midsize companies are able to leverage the same Informatica 'go live' expertise as their larger counterparts through dedicated pre- and post- sales engineering, service and support resources for every account. An ongoing mid-size enterprise resource program has also been launched to help drive continued success. Resources include business- and technology- focused Webcasts, a searchable online information base geared to midsize enterprises, architectural reviews and implementation check-ups.
