April 9, 2008 - Infor announced a new version of Infor ERP COM that allows for increased customization and improved processes in areas such as order management, sales analysis and accounting for mid-market manufacturers in the automotive, industrial equipment and machinery and metal and plastic fabrication industries.
The enhanced functionality improves project and multisite management, customer service and warehouse management, creating operational efficiencies and enabling increased competitiveness and a more effective supply chain.

Infor ERP COM 7.1 extended warehouse management capabilities to reduce operational costs by effectively managing inventories. Infor ERP COM 7.1 is also now SOA-enabled, leveraging the Infor Open SOA components for easier integration with complementary solutions from Infor.
