Hyannis, Mass., May 25, 2000 – Infinium, a provider of e-business solutions and application hosting services, announced the formation of the Infinium eBusiness unit. Infinium eBusiness will focus on enabling its customers to take full advantage of the emerging e-business market opportunity, currently estimated to be $200 billion, and expected to grow to nearly $2.2 trillion by 2004, according to International Data Corporation.

Infinium eBusiness will transcend traditional enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems by providing industry-specific, Web-based e-business solutions such as e- procurement, e-markets, self-service, business intelligence and analytics and customer relationship management (CRM). Infinium eBusiness will extend the power of Infinium's core enterprise business applications by leveraging digital markets and portals. Infinium eBusiness solutions can be implemented either internally by customers or accessed via an application service provider (ASP) such as Infinium ASP.
