I'm looking for a real-world example where a business intelligence system has added value to a company – that without the system the company would have been at a loss. Trying to sell business intelligence is a real challenge as most people don't really understand it because they can't "touch" it - or haven't. Therefore, if you can point me to some business examples/scenarios that drive the importance for a BI system, I would greatly appreciate it.
