December 5, 2011 – IBM announced Monday an agreement to buy workforce management and social program software provider Cúram Software Ltd.

Cúram software unifies views of benefits and services available across government, not-for-profit and social agencies, with features for lowering program costs and a Social Industry Platform for flexible delivery and policy changes catering to economic conditions. The Ireland-based vendor counts about 80 government agency projects worldwide using its software, including agencies in New York City, the State of Utah and New Zealand.
