IBM, Rosslyn Offer Cloud-Based Analytics Tools

IBM made two product announcements: Blueworks Live, a cloud offering, and WebSphere Lombardi Edition, a BPM solution. Blueworks Live brings together process documentation and social community elements, and the ability to structure ad hoc processes. WebSphere Lombardi Edition has built-in, real-time monitoring and analytics, and a graphical design for ease of use.

Rosslyn Analytics unveiled its cloud-based, self-service analytics solution, RA.Pid Self Service. Backed by RA.Pid Data Load Wizard, the self-service program includes: self-load spend data; self-enrich supplier information data; contract management and predictive modeling tools; customized prompts, sorts and filers; and instant keyword search.

CommVault introduced the availability of Simpana 9, data management software with an emphasis on virtualization. In the newest version of the release, Simpana 9 features increased virtualization scalability and performance, integrated source and target data deduplication, and automatic and transparent integration with hardware array-based snapshots.
