i2 Technologies, Inc., a provider of value chain management solutions, announced the formation of its Solution Upgrade Centers focused on reducing the amount of time required for customers to upgrade to the latest versions of i2 software.
Located in Bangalore, India, the center will permit customers to pretest the solutions in an offline environment that replicates their customer-specific software configuration and data models, thereby enabling comprehensive testing and certification on new software and middleware releases.
The new upgrade center is designed to increase the speed of deployment and implementation of services, while reducing configuration and quality control cycles. Developing this facility further displays i2's commitment to delivering rapid time to value by making it easier to deploy its solutions.
The i2 Solution Upgrade Center is available to current i2 customers for a fixed fee and duration of service or on a time and materials basis. Each engagement includes an initial study to determine individual customer specifications as well as the need for third-party component licenses.
