Q:

I have read many articles about knowledge management over the years. In all of these I have never seen any software to help capture knowledge when a person is working on a project. Is there any software to create a map of what a person is doing as they are doing it?

A:

Adrienne Tannenbaum’s Answer: Today's smart browsers will help somewhat. They track where people go when they search. This helps tune a portal to keep business analysts within the good areas and away from unknowns

Chuck Kelley’s Answer: At this time, I do not know of any software that is capable of capturing what a person is doing while they are doing it. At least, not something that could be of use. Having said that, I am not sure that I would want one trying to capture what I do. It might show that I play Spider Solitaire too much!
