Q:

I am postgraduate in economics, presently working on my MBA in operations. I have a good knowledge of the German language. I have five years of experience in the IT industry in business development, project management and technical communication. I have working knowledge of SPSS and SAS. Now I want to focus my career in business analytics and business intelligence. How do I break into this area?

A:

Sid Adelman’s Answer: Talk to SPSS and SAS and tell them about your capabilities. Their customers are often looking for people with experience with their products. They might know of openings.
