Hyperion, a global leader in business performance management (BPM) software, announced its support for the new HP Integrity systems, citing the benefit customers reap from the two companies' complementary technologies, which combine to dramatically improve performance and lower expenses so that customers can cost-effectively scale business intelligence (BI) across the enterprise.

Hyperion's market-leading business performance management capabilities empower companies with the insight they need to better measure, manage and improve performance. HP Integrity servers allow the flexibility needed for an improved return on investment and the availability to respond more quickly to business requirements.

New HP Integrity servers combined with Hyperion System 9 BI+ Essbase Analytics deliver the industry's most complete and scalable BI platform. Together, HP and Hyperion provide a BI solution that can support the growing number of BI and BPM business users across the enterprise, as well as the diversity, sophistication and processing intensity of analytics needed to address the wide spectrum of challenges faced by business decision makers. The solution also supports the volume of data that today's BI and BPM systems must accommodate as well as the number and range of information sources that can be leveraged with BI.

With the HP Integrity server platform, the Hyperion System 9 BI+ Essbase Analytics and Production Reporting modules receive virtually unlimited addressable memory. This allows these products to easily handle the increasingly large data volumes from heterogeneous sources, the increasingly large user communities that need access to varied information sets, and the growing analytic complexity that customers require to provide both operational and financial insights.
