Hyland Software Inc., an independent enterprise content management (ECM) software provider, announced the release of the update to its ECM program, OnBase 9.2. The focus of the update is keeping the user involved with the process, Hyland says.

Though the new release is said to boast more than 850 additions in this iteration, Hyland highlighted a few points of interest for insurers, including full access to OnBase even without Internet access; automatic document generation, which will generate and send routinely required documents for a specific process; and Payment Card Industry (PCI) data security compliance, enabling the program to encrypt physical files and credit card account values.
