According to Ralph Kimball approach "Data warehouse is the set of all data marts within the enterprise. Information is always stored in the dimensional model." In Bill Inmon's approach we build the data warehouse first where data is stored in third normal form and the data marts source the information from the data warehouse. Here all the enterprise data is available in one location (data warehouse). My question is how we can implement the concept of a centralized data warehouse in Ralph Kimball's approach (by building a set of data marts for enterprise data warehouse)?
