How can my organization use BI products to meet emerging compliance management and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements?
Sid Adelman's Answer: Sarbanes-Oxley requires that the CEO and the CFO verify and certify that the financial results they report are accurate and that the creation of that information has followed proper and documented internal control procedures. The accuracy can be addressed with data quality profiling products - as well as the appropriate procedures for profiling and cleansing the data - with meta data products to better understand the source, the derivation and the meaning of the results.
