Hitachi Consulting, the global business and IT consulting arm of Hitachi, Ltd., announced that Hilary Feier, a vice president in its U.S. BI&PM National Practice has been selected to organize Business Intelligence and Performance Management practices in all Hitachi Consulting European offices. Feier, who will be based in London, will lead the UK practice personally, while overseeing the establishment of practices in Spain and Portugal.

"Business intelligence and performance management solutions represent one of the fastest growing opportunities in consulting, worldwide, and one of the most important needs our clients have."

Hilary Feier joined Hitachi Consulting through the acquisition of Aspirity, where she held the position of president. With more than 15 years of consulting, training, project management, and executive level experience, she has a broad range of knowledge and expertise in business intelligence and professional services. She is a coauthor of the Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC) for Microsoft's business intelligence product offerings and is a frequent speaker at SQL Server conferences. Prior to Aspirity, Feier held positions with Ernst & Young, Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard.
