At least 50 percent of information technology companies which have a household brand name won't exist in their current form by the second half of 2004, predicts Gartner Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Michael Fleisher.

Fleisher made the remarks as part of his opening keynote address Oct. 8 at Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2001in Orlando.
