Fujitsu Frontech North America Inc. and Medi+Sphere Development Inc. say they are forming a strategic alliance to deliver customized appliances aimed at the global healthcare market.

The appliances will combine Fujitsu Frontech’s NuVola Private Cloud Platform Solution and Application and Development services with Medi+Sphere Development Inc.’s [MSDI’s] management and advisory services expertise. The result will be a series of customized management offerings for the hospital, medical clinic and healthcare market that are designed to improve productivity and data access in areas such as records search and analysis, electronic health records and clinical and business operations.

“Recognizing MSDI’s leadership position in the field of healthcare facilities planning, clinical services development and operations, we plan to mutually address the growing demand for technology refinements in the healthcare market,” Vic Herring, vice president of sales and marketing at Fujitsu Frontech, said in a statement.

The inception for the strategic alliance came from a recent MSDI delegation tour in the Jiangsu and Shandong Provinces of China, where Fujitsu and MSDI first presented the concept to local, regional and district officials.
