Financial Transmission Network Inc. (FTNI), a provider of payment solutions, has expanded its Web payment integration options to include iFrame and Jsonp methods, which compliment FTNI’s current ability to host the entire website for merchants. FTNI says this technology makes it easy for small businesses to begin accepting online payments from their customers for directly billed invoices or, alternatively, to incorporate a shopping cart or other consumer-facing Web application into remittance strategies. Implementing this technology enables the merchant to maintain their website and accept payments but does not require the merchant to store sensitive payment information.

FTNI says this is the latest enhancement to its ETran platform, which incorporates check scanning, ACH processing and credit card processing on a single, payment card industry-compliant, managed platform to help clients reduce costs, accelerate timelines and improve transaction processing quality. Since the Web payment technology is incorporated and delivered seamlessly within FTNI’s SaaS-based ETran platform, merchants are able to manage all of their incoming payments on a single platform, says FTNI, adding that the enhancement makes ETran’s recurring payment functionality available to a wider audience, including Mutual of Omaha Insurance, The Cunneen Group and American National Bank.
