DAMA International is proud to announce the DAMA International Boosters Program an Internet Web-enabled bridge between Sponsors, Information Resource Management (IRM) and the data management community. As a DAMA International Booster, Sponsors can publicize support of DAMA International and promote their products and services. The community can locate vendors who offer data-related products and services. The Boosters Program replaces the Vendor Listing Services which will be phased out. The DAMA International Boosters Program will list DAMA International Sponsors and Discounters. Sponsor/Discounter organization name, point-of-contact information and a summary of data management related products and services will be provided. Discounter listings include a statement of discounts for each product or service offered. Sponsors may include their organizational logo. Optionally, Boosters may include hot links to their home page and/or point-of-contact e- mail address. When a Sponsor is also a Discounter, the Sponsor will be identified in both sections of the Boosters' listing, but will only pay the Sponsor listing fee. Counters will record number of hits on both Sponsor and Discounter listings of the DAMA International Boosters Program.

Sponsors may enjoy additional publicity as a brief overview of the Sponsor's data management related products and services and occasionally may be included in the DAMA International newsletter and proceedings of DAMA International co- sponsored symposia, conferences and other sponsored events. Depending on specific arrangements, Sponsors may be given discounts on booth space costs at individual DAMA International-sponsored events. Sponsors are provided three individual Member-at-Large memberships in DAMA International. Finally, Sponsors may make use of a special "Sponsor version" of the DAMA International logo, in accordance with DAMA International's guidelines for logo display. These guidelines provide for display of the special DAMA International sponsor logo on Web sites, advertising copy and official organizational letterhead in connection with the status as a DAMA International official Sponsor.

DAMA International is excited about its new Booster Program, which will provide an expanded and valuable service to DAMA members, vendors of products and services, and to the IRM and data management community at large.
