Firstlogic, Inc., a PeopleSoft Software Partner, announced last week that its Firstlogic Data Quality Link for PeopleSoft Higher Education version 2.30 is now generally available and has achieved integration certification for use with PeopleSoft Enterprise Campus Solutions 8.0.

Firstlogic has developed an integration to meet the growing demand from customers requesting best-of-breed data quality solutions to support their higher education operations. The certified integration enables rapid deployment of Firstlogic's industry-leading information quality suite technology. PeopleSoft and Firstlogic customers can leverage the advanced data cleansing, matching and consolidation functionality. These capabilities allow colleges and universities to better manage and understand the critical information they collect about students, alumni, and faculty.

Firstlogic's technology helps organizations minimize erroneous data by cleansing data at the time of data entry or in batch process. The solution identifies duplicate records based on customizable rules, identifies any potential "matches" for review, and allows the user to consolidate information to build a "single record view".

The latest release of Firstlogic's Data Quality Link allows colleges and universities to take advantage of advanced record matching and cleansing capabilities. Support for international data builds on Firstlogic's capabilities for domestic data identification and cleansing, and in turn allows institutions to significantly reduce the time and effort needed for manual identification and consolidation of data.  The end result is complete, unique student, alumni, and staff records throughout their IT systems.
