Ann Arbor, Mich., July 28, 1999 - Comshare Inc. announced an agreement with IBM under which Comshare will market Comshare BudgetPLUS on IBM DB2 Universal Database and engage IBM to provide co-marketing services and funds for Comshare. The agreement also marks the debut of Comshare as an IBM independent software vendor to make BudgetPLUS operational on DB2 Universal Database later this fall.

This agreement widens Comshare's market and fulfills the company's strategy to have its products run on mainstream databases. "Comshare's BudgetPLUS on IBM DB2 Universal Database means that even more companies around the world can make the most of their IT investments in DB2 Universal Database, DB2 OLAP Server and NT systems," said Dennis Ganster, president and CEO of Comshare.
