Experian announced it has developed an XML (extensible markup language) interface to its Truvue Customer Data Integrating technology to permit easy integration with sales and marketing applications. Experian is a worldwide provider of information solutions.
Companies use Truvue to cleanse, integrate and enhance customer and prospect data to support database marketing and customer-loyalty initiatives. The XML interface enables businesses to connect their applications to Experian’s rich source of consumer information regardless of the technology platform or language used. Data can be accessed and exchanged across different applications without the need for time and resource-intensive coding.
Truvue lets companies integrate information from disparate corporate databases and multiple channels to achieve a single view of each customer. Truvue also provides real-time access to Experian’s vast store of consumer information. The service derives from the core technology that Experian uses to integrate and standardize consumer and business data from thousands of sources to meet stringent demands of accuracy, timeliness and privacy.
The XML interface marks another development in the application of Experian’s Truvue service. Through a Flexible Links feature, businesses can create their own rules for combining customer and prospect information. And with Truvue, they can verify, cleanse and integrate data directly at the point of customer or prospect interaction.
